WWAIFC demonstrates against pending salaries 4/25/2015 11:52:30 PM Early Times Report Udhampur, Apr 25: Members of Workers Welfare Association Irrigation & Flood Control (WWAIFC) today demonstrated against the nonpayment of due salaries from the government for the long pending demands. While speaking in the occasion, Members of (WWAIFC) said that despite the repeated demand of release of salaries by the employees, the government has not bothered to consider their genuine demand. They said they have taken up the issue with higher officials who referred to higher levels but the salaries yet have not been released. Highlighting demands, speakers demanded workers to be regularized besides maintenance of attendance register of daily wagers so that they also get the benefit of govt scheme.Secretary WWAIFC, Pavan kumar said , "We appealed these daily wagers must be regularized on the pattern of ReT teachers.
