Jammu, May 1: Awareness cum training programme was organized conducted today at Fisheries Complex, Sidhra for the beneficiaries which were covered under Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS), National Mission for Protein Supplements (NMPS), Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY).
A large number of fish farmers covering different Blocks like Khour, Pargwal, Akhnoor, Marh, Phallain Mandal, R S Pura, Suchetgarh, Bishnah etc of Jammu District had attended the training programme. The Fish Farmers were given detailed training/practical demonstrations by Kulbhushan Verma, Assistant Director Fisheries Jammu regarding various aspects of Profitable Fish Culture like Preparation of Pond with Liming, Mannuring etc, Stocking of Pond with Quality Fish Seed, Stocking Density, Application of Fish Feed to the Fishes, use of various Medicines for rearing healthy Fish Stock and most important, how to sale out their Fish Produce. |
