He has been accused of shouting against officer in charge medical records and beating him up.
However, according to Shabir Ahamd Malla, he and one officer in charge Medical records Muhammad Ramzan exchanged some heated arguments over an issue in the department that day but settled the issue amicably. According to the President ‘employees Welfare association SKIMS, Abdul Rehman, another female employee, Farooqa was also placed under suspension few days ago.
“ We Protested yesterday also against harassment by higher ups but since Higher ups use Police to quell our march towards road and restrict our Protest up to entry points only, we have now informed our
higher ups through a letter to either cancel suspension of employees immediately or be ready for indefinite strike from coming week,” he added. SKIMS Employees
injustice in SKIMS has crossed all limits and they cannot remain silent anymore. When contacted Medical Superintendent, Dr Farooq Jan, said that Shabir Ahmad Malla was involved in misconduct within SKIMS premises with one employee which cannot be tolerated and another Farooqa after returning from an authorized leave refused to join for a night duty schedule/
