JAMMU, May 1: Flower Show in the month of April is an annual feature of MHAC School, Nagbani, continuing the old custom coming over from past many years, MHAC School today organized a Splendid Flower Show and Bhajan Competition at School premises. The show consists of various competitions in different categories and almost 800 students from classes 7th to 12th participated in fresh flower arrangement, Ikebana, Floral Basket, Floral miniature, Bouquets, Dry flower arrangement and Floral Carpet. A mass participation of more than 150 entries was there in floral carpets which perfumed the MHAC campus. Pinki Jamwal and Sudesh Sharma, adjudicated the entries for Classes IX -XII while Anita Jamwal and Lalita Manhas were the judges for the group VII and VIII. Judges were impressed by the creativity of the students and found it very tough to select the winners amongst floral carpets and miniatures especially. Bhajan competition was also organized on the same day for class 5th band 6th. Upma Sharma and Jasdeep declared the result wherein Shreya Dalia (6th) bagged 1st position and Manik Shivgotra (6th) and Amogh Thusoo (6th ) bagged Second Position. Result for Flower Show was as in Fresh Flower arrangement , Komal Sharma from Senior Group (XI, XII), Ravansh and Vaidurya from Pre-Senior B (IX,X), Dhairya, Nishal and Archita Mahajan from Pre-Senior A (VII, VIII) bagged 1st position. In Dry Flower arrangement , Priya Chib and Shikha Sharma from Senior Group (XI, XII) and Tanvi Rajput from Pre-Senior B (IX,X) bagged 1st position. In Bouquet, Himanshu Sharma from Pre-Senior A (VII, VIII) bagged 1st position. In Basket , Jahnvi Sharma from Pre-Senior B (IX,X) bagged 1st position, in Floral Carpet , Aditi Sharma and Mohd. Hussain from Senior Group (XI, XII), Chetan and Urgan from Pre-Senior B (IX,X) while Shivani Manhas and Isha Jamwal from Pre-Senior A (VII, VIII) bagged 1st position. In Miniature , Samriti from from Senior Group (XI, XII), Vardan Saproo from Pre-Senior B (IX,X) , Deepika Gupta and Arpit from Pre-Senior A (VII, VIII) bagged 1st position. Principal Alok Betab congratulated the winners and appreciated all the participants for their creativity and talent. |
