Udhampur, June 18: A four week long `Driver Training Cadre' today started here at Reasi. According to press release, it was inaugurated by the Rashtriya Rifles battalion based at Jhangar under the aegis of Force Headquarters, Reasi in coordination with the Regional Transport Office. The cadre evoked a huge response with large number of youth turning up to attend the cadre. The training will focus on theoretical and practical aspects of driving skills, familiarisation with basic mechanical aspects of light vehicles and traffic rules and regulations. On completion of the training the successful candidates will be issued with learner driving license by the Regional Transport Office. The training cadre will go a long way towards promoting self employment and job opportunities for the youth from interior areas of Nowshera, Jhangar, Laroka and Saryah.
