Early Times Report Srinagar, June 18: People in the Kashmir valley remained indifferent to International Yoga Day being celebrated throughout the globe on June 21, when Kashmiris will be observing fast on the third day of holy fasting month of Ramadan. Though Yoga generated a debate among the scholars of different faiths, Kashmirs besides Muslim ulemas remained indifferent. Educational institutions, including those run by missionary organisations, have also not made any arrangement for celebrating the day. Being Sunday the government and other private institutions will remain closed on the day. Though some people said there was nothing wrong in performing Yoga, majority of people said offering five times Namaz during the day and additional Taraweeh were enough for mental peace and physical fitness. So far there was no official announcement about organising Yoga celebration at the state-level in Jammu and Kashmir, where Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is a coalition partner in the government with Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
