Katra, June 18: Police claimed to have arrested main accused liquor smuggler who was wanted in case FIR No.96/2015 U/S 48-A Excise Act and 188/RPC of P/S Katra.
A team of police under the supervision of Inspector Kuldeep Krishan, SHO police station Katra, Dr. Ashok Sharma, KPS SDPO Katra, Sumir Kotwal, KPS Additional SP Katra and overall supervision of Sujit Kumar, IPS SSP Reasi arrested the Rakesh Sharma son of Bodh Raj alias Raju Gunda resident of WNo.12 Katra from Kundrorian Katra who was wanted in case FIR No.96/2015 U/S 48-A Excise Act and 188/RPC of P/S Katra in which one person namely Vishal Sharma son of Mohan Lal resident of Mahadev Mandir WNo 11 Reasi District Reasi was already arrested with 20 poly pouches of liquor J&K excise measuring 250/250 ml at Railway Station.
According to police statement, on his disclosure 11 sealed packs of liquor containing 396 poly pouches from the house of Rakesh Sharma where from he managed to escape from Police. Total 416 poly pouches of liquor J&K excise 250/250 ml each were recovered and seized in that case. |
