Jammu, July 22: District Agriculture Officer (Ext.) Jammu Vinod Ganjoo along with other officers today conducted a tour of Pounichak zone and inspected transplanting of paddy crop.
According to press release, during the inspection, emphasis was laid on line transplanting of paddy, proper fertilizer dosage and use of farm yard manure for the betterment of plants and soil health and further instructions were given to farmers for making optimum use of weedicides in time period. The villages which were inspected included Ranjeetpura, Pounichak, Bhadrore, Dahichak,Sari Rakwalan, Gho Manhasan and Sandhwan. |
