Police remand of 7 accused extended by 10 days

Kishtwar, July 22: After expiry of four days remand, Kishtwar police today produced all the seven accused, who had raised anti-national and pro-Pakistan slogans in the town here after eid prayers on Saturday last, before Chief judicial Magistrate Kishtwar who extended their police remand by 10 more days.
As per the details available with "Early Times", Kishtwar police produce all the seven accused persons arrested in case FIR 119 U/S 120 B/124 A RPC, 10/13/39 Unlawful Activities and charges of sedition namely Abdul Gani age 45 yrs son of Ghulam Ali Butt resident of Pathgham Marwah at Present Near Shiv Mandir Kishtwar (Teacher in Education Department), Imran Butt son of Mohammad Amin Butt resident of Nagni Hidyal Kishtwar, Bilal Ahmed Butt son of Abdul Rashid Butt resident of Saroori Mohallah Kishtwar, Sajid Hussain son of Ghulam Hussain Sheikh resident of Marwah Kishtwar, Raj Mohammad son of Mohammad Yakoob resident of Phugumar Hasti Kishtwar, 24 year old Mudasir Ahmed son of Javed Ahmed resident of Trigham Kishtwar B.Ed student and Aqib Rasool son of Ghulam Haider resident of Teller Marwah in court of CJM Kishtwar who extended their remand by 10 more days.
The other persons mentioned in FIR has been identified as Mohammad Ali son of Atta Mohammad Kamal resident of Kamal Mohallah Kishtwar, Imran son of Irfan Hajjam resident of Hatta Kishtwar, Yawar Hussain son of Mohammad Iqbal resident of Dugga near service station, Haqnawaz son of Ghulam Rasool Sheikh resident of Sangrabata Kishtwar, Asif Ahmed son of Manzoor Ahmed Mir resident of Astanbala Kishtwar, Ilyas Chobdar resident of Lateef Chobdar resident of Link Road Kishtwar and Khalid Pashoo son of Mohammad Yousaf Pashoo resident of Keshwan Kishtwar an employee (cook) with ADC Kishtwar. They are yet to be arrested.
Meanwhile, the family members of all the seven arrested accused today claimed that they were innocent and demanded their immediate release.
It is pertinent to mention that Kishtwar Police in its preliminary investigation found the involvement of banned militant outfit Lashker e Toiba for stoking anti India sloganeering after eid procession.
