Jammu, July 22: Vishwa Jan Toilet Complex at Gangyal, Jammu was today inaugurated by Rajesh Jain, President, Association of Industries (regd.), Gangyal.
According to press release, in the backdrop of Swachh Bharat Mission, the funding of this toilet block is given by SICOP and it is constructed by NGO 'World Sanitation & Environment' Jammu branch.
Dr. P. Jha, Chairman of NGO 'World Sanitation & Environment' informed that his organization will also maintain and operate the Toilet Block for 30 years at its own cost. SICOP has nothing to pay for maintenance. The cost of the toilet block is Rs. 12.50 lakhs but the cost of Air conditioner is paid by the NGO itself. |
