| GD Goenka Public School holds special assembly | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 2: A special assembly was conducted by the students of classes III-V to wish birthday to 'Makhan Chor' at G.D Goenka Public School, governed by Om Prakash Bansal Charitable Trust.
The Assembly began with a speech and was followed by 'Ras-leela' performed on 'Aaj Radha Ko Shyam Shad Aa Gaya'. A melody of songs dedicated to the Lord were played on Casio by a team of seven students.
Next in line was a dance depicted love for Lord Krishna.
The final performance was 'the Dashavtar' that beautifully presented the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu, which was followed by the most important 'Matki-Phod'. Students made a pyramid as a young devotee broke the hung earthen ware.
Children thoroughly enjoyed the performance. The Principal of the school Dr. R.P Singh applauded and appreciated the efforts of students and teachers. |
