Reasi Oct 2 :- A team of Forest Protection Force, Gamma Unit - J11, Reasi, led by Masud Ahmed, Inspector Operations, under the direct supervision of Mohinder Singh, Deputy Director, FPF - J11, Reasi, on a specific information seized 1037.62 cft of Fir timber lying in compartment 18, Chinkah Block, Thakrakote Range of Reasi Forest Division. The seized stuff includes three fir trees (dry) felled of dia class 70-80, 80-90 & 90-100. Besides these, 13 freshly sawn green sleepers of fir of dimension 27'X10"X7" extracted from 80-90 dia class stump (green) were also seized. The case is under investigation and the said timber is kept on supurdnama. Accused is still unknown as nobody claimed the timber and investigation is going on to trace the culprits. |
