Early Times Report RAMBAN, NOV 18: District Development Commissioner, Ramban, Bashir Ahmed Dar today took an extensive tour of Tehsil Gool to make assessment of the requirements relating to various basic facilities provided to local people. According to press release, whereas ADDC, Ravinder Sadhu, Programme Officer, ICDS, Ashok Pandita, Chief Planning Officer, Parshotam Kumar, ACD Romin Sheikh, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Gool, Zameer Ahmed, engineers of PHE, PWD, PDD and other concerned District Officers were also presented in tour. During the tours, the DDC inspected many government offices and ongoing developmental works under various projects of state and centre. Later, the District Development Commissioner conducted public darbar at Gool which was attended by the people from villages Sangaldan, Gundi, Daram, Ind, Chachwa, Kalimasta, Bhimdasa, Parthmula, Ghagra, Mawalkote, Haila, Farmrote, Gagarsula including many other remote and least communicated locations. The people on the occasion apprised the DDC about various problems and difficulties faced by them including shortage drinking water, poor condition of power sector, absence of lanes and drains, shortage of medical staff in hospitals, irregularity in old age pensions, dilapidated condition of roads and buildings, non availability of timber and fire wood and sudden leopards attacks on humans and animals. |
