Early Times Report Ramban, Nov 18: District Development Commissioner Bashir Ahmed Dar, accompanied with district administrative officer today visited Tehsil Gool and held public Darbar. According to press release, people from villages Sangaldan, Gundi, Daram, Ind, Chachwa, Kalimasta, Bhimdasa, Parthmula, Ghagra, Mawalkote, Haila, Farmrote and Gagarsula attended the public darbar. During visit he also inspected many government offices and ongoing developmental works under various projects of state and centre. On the occasion people apprised DDC about various problems and difficulties faced by them including shortage drinking water, poor condition of power sector, absence of lanes and drains, shortage of medical staff in hospitals, irregularity in old age pensions, dilapidated condition of roads and buildings, non availability of timber and fire wood and sudden leopards attacks on humans and animals. Besides many other issues, the locals also focused on land acquisition compensation, cases of roshni act, plantation of fruit trees, treatment of animal and plants diseases, flood control, fire services, ICDS, works of MGNREGA, food supply, field visits by the officers, public and officers meets, awareness about ongoing schemes of state and centre governments. Speaking on the occasion, DDC ordered for on spot redressal of most of highlighted problems and passed necessary instructions to the district officers for resolving all the raised issues. He directed the officers to remain in contact with the people and pay regular visits in all remotest areas to build confidence besides ensuring the quality of developmental works and life. |
