Jammu, Nov 22: Only Swadeshi can boost Indian economy and increased its GDP for the overall development and prosperity of the country; this was stated by Sh. Satish Kumar, North-West Organizing Secretary of Swadeshi Jargan Manch (SJM) in the State Convention of SJM J&K here today.He said,"self-reliance economy is that which is run by its own resources and to achieve this we must adopt the Swadesi model. He explained that as tourism is the great industry to produce employment in the country and in J&K particular and if Government pays attention towards herbal medicines, J&K will also contribute a lot in herbal medicines field because of its geographical conditions.
Sat Sharma, MLA Jammu-West who presided over the convention stated that, if we encourage small scale industry and our traditional rural artisan, weaver, handicraft and many other local employment-oriented schemes, it will make the state more prosper & employment generating center adding that "Swadeshi is the need of the hour to boost our economy and to increase the employment.
Pawan Baru, State Convenor SJM, while speaking on the occasion said that "Swadeshi Jagran Manch is a non-political organization to educate the masses to use the Swadeshi products and adopt Swadeshi agriculture which will encourage cattle farming, non-toxied grain, fruit & vegetables. |
