Jammu, Nov 22: A lawyer has been booked by the Bagh-e-Bahu police for allegedly raping his client. As per police sources, a case under section 376 of RPC was registered against lawyer Ashfaq Ahmed of Mendhar, who at present is living in Jammu, on the court direction. The victim, in her complaint, has alleged that she approached the lawyer for dealing her matrimonial case. However, taking advantage of her innocence, he raped her, she alleged. The lawyer had earlier assured to marry her, sources alleged. |
