| Asking teachers to report DSE for document verification is injustice: JAJD alleges | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 22: Members of Jiyo Aur Jeene Do- NGO expressed concern over the treatment meted out to the teachers of entire Jammu province for asking them to reach Director School Education Office Jammu for document verification.
While addressing the media persons, the president of NGO Tariq Shah said, "It is very unfair on the part of Education Department that they have called the teachers at Jammu for verification of documents. It is more worrying issue that they were not informed through any notice in newspaper but merely through website only. This is quite unfair for all those teachers who are staying in far flung areas and are not connected through internet. The last date for verification on website was 20th of Nov. This made all the teachers rush to Director office Jammu. Later the last date was extended and the same was not informed again through any newspaper. First of all, this is the duty of Department itself to make a seniority list and forward it to the director office. They should have asked the concerned DDOs to conduct the verification of documents. It could have been verified by the concerned DDOs at the District level. Teachers from Samba , Kathua, Poonch , Udhampur , Rajouri, Reasi ,Doda and others had reached Director School Education Jammu. Sometimes it takes even two days. |
