JAMMU, Nov 29 : Ace Chess Academy here organized an Open Chess Tournament for young and upcoming players with an aim to promote competitive spirit. Speaker, J&K Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta was chief guest, who distributed prizes among the winners. As per a handout issued by the Academy, similar competition shall take place on December six at the same venue.
Also present were president of the all J&K Chess Association, Atul Kumar Gupta Taranvir Singh Gujral, Vikas Nanda, Rahil Gupta, Vijay Choudhary.

BOYS : Under-8 year: Nipun, Ist; Abhay Jasrotia, 2nd and Shubankar, 3rd. Under-10 year: Divya Jain, Ist; Divyam Gupta, 2nd and Ayush Gupta, 3rd. Under-12 year: Sanyam, Ist; Manik Shah, 2nd and Vansh, 3rd. Under-14 year: Harshdeep Singh, Ist; Adheit, 2nd and Navdeep, 3rd.
