Early Times Report Rajouri, May 22: Rajouri police rescued 34 bovine animals and have also seized three vehicles which were on way to Kashmir Valley along with the animals. Police said under the supervision of Ch Hamid Choudhry , deputy SP, HQs , police party lead by inspector Chaman Gorkha, SHO, Rajouri laid special nakas at Kalidab, Badoon and Kheora areas and intercepted on Tata Mobile vehicles bearing registration No. JK02A-9692 and rescued 7 bovine animals. On spotting police party bovine smugglers/ driver fled from the spot leaving behind the vehicle. Police chased the smugglers and one among them identified as Mohd Farooq of Plangar village was apprehended and booked in case FIR No.291/16 under section 188RPC & 3PCA. |
