BHADERWAH, June 24: Fourteen passengers were injured, two of them seriously, when a Mini Bus they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell from a slope near Chinchora area of Bhaderwah in District Doda on Friday morning. According to eyewitnesses, the Mini Bus bearing registration number JK 06-6371 was on its way from village Chinta to Bhadarwah, when it skidded off the road near Chinchora "After getting information, Police immediately rushed to the spot and along with locals rescued all passengers from the ill-fated vehicle and shifted them to Sub Distt Hospital Bhadarwah where from two seriously injured were shifted to GMC Jammu," said an official. Police has registered a case in this regard at Police Station Bhadarwah. The injured have been identified as Shabir Ahmed 25 S/O Faqir Mohd R/O Jai Bhadarwah, Koda 16 S/O Sher Ali R/O Jai Bhadarwah, Jeto 25 S/O Shoket Ali R/O Jai Bhadarwah, Pala Devi 25 Kalyan Singh R/O Chinta Bhadarwah, Sheena Begum 30 W/O Bashir Ahmed R/O Chinta Bhadarwah, Kalyan Singh 30 S/O Hari Krishan R/O Gathi Morh Bhadarwah, Shilpa Sharma 25 D/O Kuldeep Sharma R/O Chinta Bhadarwah, Rajinder Kumar 59 S/O Gambir Chand R/O Chinchora, Bhadarwah, Manoj Kumar 18 S/O Bodh Raj R/O Chinchilla, Bhadarwah, Kuldeep Sharma 52 S/O Lakshmi Chand R/O Chinchora, Bhadarwah, Shankutla Devi 35 w/o Divan Chand R/O Chinta Bhadarwah,Rukum kesh age 45 S/O Hari Krishna R/O Chinta and Thandi age 65 S/O Rabarn R/O Chinta and Zakir Hussain 23 S/O Bari R/O Chinta Bhadarwah. Later, two seriously injured Rukum kesh and Thandi were shifted to GMC Jammu.on Bhadarwah-Jai road, resulting in injuries to fourteen passengers. |
