Jammu, June 25 :A purse, containing cash and valuable items, which was recovered by police from outside the bhavan of Mata Vaishno Devi in Trikuta Hills of Katra, was later returned to its rightful owner.It contained Rs 1,000 in cash and some valuable items, police sources said. Soon after cops found the purse lying outside the bhawan near X-ray machine, an announcement was made through the shrine board. On this, Gauri Lal, son of Amar Nath of Street No 17, Rajpura Magotrian, Jammu, appeared before the officers at Bhavan Police Station and told them that the purse belonged to him. After verification, the purse was returned to Gauri.
