Jammu, June 25 :A bovine smuggler, who was carrying 24 milch animals to the valley, was today apprehended by police from a village in Mahore area of Reasi. He was identified as Roshan Din, son of Mamdoo Jaral of Adbase, Mahore. He was arrested on a tip-off from the Adbase outskirts while he was on his way to Dumail Nar Kindora for his onward journey to Kashmir, police sources said. A total of 24 bovine animals were rescued, the sources added, saying that the accused had been booked by Mahore police under section 188 of RPC and section 3 of PCA Act.
