Awareness programme on "Road Safety" held 9/27/2016 11:41:39 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 27: Social Science Wing of State Institute of Education Jammu organized II Phase of the 2 days awareness programme/workshop on "Road Safety" at SIE Jammu concluded today on 27th September 2016 under the overall supervision of Mohd Iqbal J.D.Trgs./ Principal SIE Jammu. The main objective of this programme is to train the teaching faculty about the road safety measures who in turn will create an awareness among the students to follow the road safety norms. RTO Jammu, Ashwani Khajuria, the Chief Guest of the programme inaugurated the programme and conducted an effective interactive session on the relevance of Road Safety Measures. In this workshop 48 Teachers/Masters/Lecturers from various districts of Jammu Division participated and attentively learnt different rules and measures concerning road safety. Resource persons from Traffic Control Department, Inspector Sanjeev and Inspector Bhupinder Singh took interesting sessions on traffic signals, traffic rules and acts regarding road safety. Joint Director (trgs)/Principal SIE Jammu Mohd Iqbal stressed upon the disseminating the awareness about road safety norms amont the students during valedictory session.
