Jammu, Sept 27: Delhi Public School, Jammu excelled in Inter school swimming competition organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports by winning 10 Gold Medals.
According to press release, in category U -19, the Gold Medal Winners were Sidhant Sharma-XII-B(50 mts Butterfly / 100 mts), Sanand Sharma- XII-A (50 mts Breast Stroke), and Sukhwmit Kour-XI-D(50 mts / 100 mts Breast Stroke). In Category U-14, the winners were Divyan Sharma-VII-I (200 mt / 400 mt Back Stroke), Devyansh- VIII-B (100 mt Back Stroke), Vansh VI-E (200 mt Breast Stroke) and Vaniya-VI-A (100 mt Back Stroke). All the winners have also qualified for the National level Swimming Competition to be held later.
Principal, Delhi Public School, Jammu Ruchi Chabra congratulated all the winners and lauded the efforts of the parents and the coaches Ravinder & Damini for their achievement. Headmistress, Meenu Gupta was also present on the occasion. |
