| Thousands of people displaced as Pak continue to violate ceasefire on LOC | | |  Early Times Report
Rajouri, Oct 11: Thousands of people had to displace from their houses with the continue ceasefire violations by Pakistan after surgical strike on LOC at Parhar.
During the visit to forward post on loc Parhar, media person got firsthand experience of the situation of the area and condition of the people residing there. They also talked with army jawans who said that they are well prepared for any situation and well motivated with high morale. They said our troops are prepared for any eventuality along the loc. They said anti infiltration measures have also been activated to foil infiltration of terrorists or any kind of BAT attack. They said we are keeping a close eye & high degree of vigilance on the movement across the border to foil any design. The heavy shelling & firing that followed the surgical strikes have resulted in displacement of thousands of border dwellers. Despite the terrorizing explosions from mortar bombs & the rattle of guns, people are reluctant to leave their houses. They said we are not leaving our homes despite firing & shelling because we hope that it wil also boost the morale of army. But some people said that we are facing many problems because our children are not in a situation to go to school. |
