PHE Workers Welfare Association reiterates demands

Jammu, Oct 15: The schedule making of the representation of all divisions of PHE Workers Welfare Association was held in the office of Association today under the chairmanship of Subash Verma provincial General Secretary of the Association.
In the meeting various issues of the employees/workers have been discussed in thread base, such as Regularization of daily wages, release wages of all C.P./need base workers, release all pending wages of workers and one family member of the decreased daily wages be given job in the department on compassionate grounds etc., creation of welfare fund scheme, rationalisation of pay scales of permanent employees and creation of higher scale posts, the promotions of the field staff be done on old pattern till the modification of SRO-380 etc.
In the meeting the members have shown their concerns for not disbursement of wages to the workers. In this regard association has decided to approach the Chief Engineer PHE department Jammu as a deputation on 21-10-2016 particularly on wages issue. The association has further criticized the state cabinet decision for creation of corporation and has termed the same only eyewash which cannot be accepted at any cost.
The association has further stated the all the working in the department are genuine and they all should be regularised at the earliest without any further delay.
The prominent office bearers those who have attended the meeting are Mohan Singh, S. Surjeet Singh, Ram Lubhaya, Bansi Lal, Kuldip Sharma, Yashpaul Singh, Kulbushan Nanda, Manzoor Ali, Himat Kumar, Neel Kumar, Vikram Sharma.
