Kishtwar Oct 15: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Ghulam Nabi Balwan who is also District Election Officer along with team of election officials visited various polling stations in Kishtwar District on the eve of Special Polling Camp Day.
An official said, "Accompanied with Tehsildar Kishtwar Irshad Ahmed Butt and Naib Tehsildar, the Deputy Commissioner Mr Balwan, inquired about various developments with regard to enrollment of new voters, distribution of Election Cards, correction of names and deletion of names as well as change of polling stations by the voters." "DC Kishtwar after scrutinizing the records at polling stations issued various on spot directions to the Booth Level Officers and directed them to hand over the EPIC cards to the voters and reach out to those youths who had turned 18 years, official added.
