Rajouri, Oct 17: In a rarest kind of snatching reported in border district, two unidentified motorcycle borne youths allegedly snatched Rs 1.0 lakh from the employee of government wine shop near the Shiv Mandir at about 9.30 pm on Sunday. "On the complaint of Bhim Singh, employee of the government wine shop at Old Bus Stand that two youths have snatched bag containing Rs 1.0 lakh, police sources said, adding, "a case stands registered against FIR u/s 382 RPC (theft after preparation made for causing death, hurt or restraint in order to the committing of the theft) against the unidentified burglars and further investigations are on." Police sources said, "As per complainant Bhim Singh while he was on way to home after closing the wine shop at 9 pm, two motorcycle borne youths slowed down the bike besides him and snatched the cash bag and disappeared in the darkness before he can recollect." "Due to power curtailment, it was dark, complainant stated and has added that number plate of the motorcycle was not visible in the darkness of night and taking advantage of darkness the tow accused sped up bike and fled from the spot. Sub Inspector, Fareed Ahmed , in-charge Rajouri police post said that police has started the investigation and soon few suspects will be rounded up for questioning. |
