JU VC plays typical ‘Angrez‘ to divide Sangh Parivar | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 17: The "over-smart" Vice Chancellor of Jammu University, Prof R D Sharma is acting very "smartly" to save his chair. He is pursuing "Divide and Rule" policy of the British to develop cracks in the Sangh Parivar so that the Parivar could not jointly oppose his dictatorial decision to ban RSS and ABVP in the campus. For years together what successive Congress governments have failed to do, the Vice Chancellor of Central University has done by creating divide in the Sangh Parivar. On last Saturday (October 8) a function was held in the Jammu University campus which was presided over by Vice Chancellor himself despite the fact that function was organised by Jammu chapter of Jammu and Kashmir Study Centre (JKSC), which is an off-shoot of the Sangh Parivar. Interestingly on the one hand Vice Chancellor has banned activities of RSS and ABVP in the campus while on the other hand he has himself presided over a function which was organised by one of the off-shoots of RSS. JKSC is a Delhi based pro-RSS "Think Tank" and J&K is headed by a prominent RSS leader. A couple of journalists, some advocates and scholars of different universities are associated with J&K chapter of this "Think Tank". Vice Chancellor had allowed function of JKSC in Jammu University but banned ABVP and RSS, which is really interesting. In Saturday's function, in which book on Maharaja Hari Singh was released, many top Sangh Parivar leaders had graced the occasion because these leaders wanted to be in the good book of the Vice Chancellor despite the fact that activities of RSS and ABVP have been banned in the Jammu University. Credible sources said that Vice Chancellor is acting very smartly in dealing with Sangh Parivar because he is very much aware that many leaders in the Sangh have personal ambitions so he is especially targeting such so-called pro-Hindu leaders who want to rehabilitate their kith and kin. The Vice Chancellor is excellently exploiting aspirations of those Sangh Parivar leaders who are desperate to fulfil their personal aspirations at the cost of the organization. |
