Gandhi needs a good PR team | | Sahil Bhat | 8/27/2018 11:08:38 PM |
| A lot as to skill and orientation is required to be inculcated in the Congress president Rahul Gandhi yet. In the wake of recent visit to London where he had to meet businessmen, politicians, academics and Non-Resident Indians, Rahul Gandhi's blatant bashing to the PM and himself acting as a forecaster of nation by reciting it hopeless - appears to be reprehensible. Of all those inferior assertions he made in past in India, cannot be counted as unjust but the recent one where at some international podium he is indicating India to be inadequate in terms of growth, is an abysmal disgrace. No one gives him the liberty of being a forecaster of India and as he asserts - down the line India will not stand in good owing to the gruesome conditions which gives it an unenviable task to survive under the marquee of current regime. Portraying the agenda of his party, he also spoke about the anti-sikh riots, which was condemnable and he is ready to punish those involved. That, categorically is not the weak stand, but if we profoundly introspect the whole scenario one can clearly say that if anybody who scores an opportunity to speak at an international platform he must count the attributes pertaining to his party and be optimistic forecaster rather than making manifestations about his nation which reduce it to bad. If the Congress stalwart who has earlier been severely looked down by the political pundits and who has failed to establish his brand as phenomenal political leader must take the positive pathway rather than indulging in petty politics of blame game, which eventually will build his prominent identity. This must at least happen at the international podium. While travelling in past, the populace enormously acknowledged the young Gandhi on Times Now during 2014 Lok Sabha elections, wherein he completely felt flat in presenting himself as an undaunted convincer. Speaking of the list of political professionals who have taken potshots on this Gandhi, it is long but while we retrospect the past his performance as to a convincer has been decent. However, that is a different aspect - the grades of Congress slipped since he has taken charge. But there are manifold certain aspects wherein, he is not to blame. The whole onus cannot be at his shoulders. Now speaking of the recent repercussions in London with regard to Rahul Gandhi, he gave an utterance which was cynical, as it should have been more articulating. Also, one cannot deny, of how much a big or small brand Rahul Gandhi has created, being the antagonist of Narendra Modi, including the recent hug - a sarcasm- he has not been belittled as he was earlier at the time of testing the water of politics. Most of his speeches have Modi as a key term and that criticism as a ladder has been vital for his minimal growth. But he still has to make lots of visits to school wherein explicit and unambiguous wisdom are the subjects. |
