SWDC organizes awareness camp

Jammu, Sept 8: J&K State Women's Development Corporation organized an awareness camp at Ward No 59, Thathrian Jammu West. The camp was attended by Rifat Qamar Manager District Women's Dev. Corporation Jammu , Raj Kumari Field Supervisor, Jasmeet Singh Head Master, Government Girls Primary School Thathrian, Romesh Sharma President Indian Social Organisation NGO Regd. Seema Jamwal Teacher, Vinay Rajput Teacher, Madam Luxmi Ji & other prominent peoples. The women were made aware about state / centrally sponsored schemes launched and sponsored by the women's Development Corporation for upliftment of women.
Speaking on the occasion, Rifat Qamar Manager District Women's Dev. Corporation Jammu JKWDC, stressed upon the participants to take advantage of central sponsored schemes like NMDFC, NBCFDC, and NHFDC including Education loan and also one scheme implemented namely Empowered Skilled Young Women (ESW) under Sher-E- Kashmir Jammu and Kashmir State. They urged upon the women to take benefit of the schemes and establish their own income generating units by way of loans available at nominal interest rates to become self reliant. Jasmeet Singh of the area also spokes on the occasion about BETI PADAO BETI BACHA, SWACH BHARAT ABHIYAN about 50/80 Women participated in the camp.
