JAMMU, Sept 19: Clipping wings of Special Secretary, the Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu Prof M K Dhar assigned charge of administrator Zorawar Singh Auditorium to Sanjeev Mahajan, Controller of Examination recently.
Moreover it has also been learnt that the VC last week has again instructed University's Legal Cell to pull the laces to defend court case filled by officers/officials against University.
It is pertinent to mention here that Early Times on September 7 published a story with caption "Petitioners against JU become respondents! Stay against JU decisions reveals unique modus operandi", and taking steps for reforms in campus the new VC made a major reshuffle recently.
Prof. Kulwant Singh, Department of Law, shall function as the Controller of Examinations, in addition to his existing duties, relieving Sanjeev Mahajan. Sanjeev Mahajan, functioning as the Controller of Examinations, shall function as I/c Administrator, General Zorawar Singh Auditorium Complex, relieving Dr. Neeraj Sharma, Special Secretary to Vice-Chancellor, of the additional charge. He shall also act as the Joint Registrar (DDE) against the available vacancy.
Prof. Rajni Kant. Director Colleges Development Council, shall function as the Director, Directorate of Distance Education, in addition to his existing duties, relieving Prof. Darshana Sharma, of the additional charge. Prof. R. K. Ganjoo, Department of Geology, shall function as the Director. |
