Jammu, Sept 1: Former legislator from Jammu West Constituency, Sat Sharma today started works for laying fresh water pipes at Ward 41. Sharma was also accompanied by a large number of people including State Secretary and Corporator Ward 41 Sanjay Baru, PHE officials, local residents and political activists of the area. The areas that will be covered include Patta Chungi Basti, Anand Vihar Lane 2, Hazuribagh Lane 5, Surya Vihar Mint Leaf lane and 2 lanes in Colonel Colony. The works are being done under the supervision of PHE department at an estimated cost of Rupees 18.5 lakhs and the funds were sanctioned from the CDF (Constituency Development Fund) scheme of Former MLA which was sanctioned during his tenure and its work was delayed due to code of conduct of elections and other reasons, but the work was taken up as soon as the process got cleared. AEE PHE Chander Shekhar Khajuria, JE Suresh Sharma, Ashok Wazir, Jaideep Sambyal, Vinod Wazir, RK Koul, Ramesh Sharma, Raman Koushal, Dindayal Sharma, Dr. Hem Raj, Jatinder Khjauria, Dr. Dineshwar Sharma, Surinder Sharma, Naresh Gupta, Kulbhushan Vohra, Arvind Sharma, Naresh Kumar, Rajesh Saini, Arun Dubey, Anuj soni, Ashish Sharma, Sham Lal, Pyare Lal Mawa, Rachpal Choudhary, Rajesh Gupta, Ashwani Khajuria, Kewal krishan Sharma and several others were also present. |
