SAMBA, Apr 8: In its endeavour to provide food items among the poor, district administration samba today distributed ration items consisting of aata, salt, onions, potatoes etc. among the needy people at Chak Manga Rakwal.
The ration items were provided by Sumit Singh Sapan who is helping the needy people especially labourers with the support of district administration during lockdown period.
In another drive, district administration also distributed biryani among the labourers and poor people which was provided by the owner of Triple R Farms Ashok Singh in Samba district. He is providing food to 500 people daily during lockdown period.
ACR Samba appreciated the efforts of the said persons and appealed to the public in general to come forward and help others according to their potential. |
