Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 8: Rear glass of BJP leader's vehicle broke due to collateral damage in Narwal area this afternoon, when a scuffle broke out between two groups, a police officer said. It is being circulated on social media that the vehicle was damaged due to a bullet fired on it, but the reality is something else, the officer said. "No doubt the rear glass of the vehicle was damaged, which belongs to a BJP worker, not leader. The vehicle got damaged due to stone throwing between two groups", said the officer and added that earlier it was being believed that the vehicle got damaged during firing. "But later, a party (owner of 999 Gym) lodged complaint alleging attack by another party (some people from Simbal area), since the matter is under investigation no more detail at this stage can be shared", the officer said, adding that however a bullet was fired in air, but the bullet was not cause of damage to the vehicle. "The vehicle was parked for two half hour there and no one was inside it. when the firing and stone pelting took place", the officer added. |
