The senior Congress leader and former Education Minister Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed was sacked after giving him an opportunity of being heard and not merely on the allegations, said Health Minister Mangat Ram Sharma.
Mangat's this confirmation came today while the opposition was demanding sacking of two PDP Ministers –Qazi Mohammad Afazal and Tariq Hameed Karra. Mangat was talking to the reporters while reacting to the Opposition's demand.

The pediatrics section in the SMGS Hospital Jammu, attached to Government Medical College Jammu, is highly over-crowed with a very large number of child patients coming to the hospital, particularly in the extreme cold weather of this winter. The present bed strength of the hospital as well as the strength of doctors and nursing staff falls much short to cope with the rush.

The Peoples Democratic Party today officially came to the rescue of its two Ministers currently in the line of fire from the Opposition National Conference for their alleged involvement in the Forest scam.
So far, the Ministers (Tariq Hameed Karra and Qazi Mohammad Afazal) had been defending themselves at their own while the party had not officially and formally reacted.
