EARLY TIMES REPORTER JAMMU | OCT 25 Raju Chopra, a cement tycoon of Jammu city who was brutally murdered along with his wife, daughter and two servants, was expecting bid on his life as he got held “Maha Mrityunjaya Jaap” prior to his murder for evading danger on life. Chopra’s horoscope had clearly indicated danger to his life and a popular “Pandit” of Trikuta Nagar had carried the Jaap for Chopra but unfortunately the mantra didn’t work for him. The Police, for getting lead into the blind murder interrogated the said Pandit and during his interrogation, he confirmed that Chopra was under the constant fear of losing his life and also speculated attack on life within 15 days of the Jaap. Even his sons confirmed that their father had sensed the danger to his life. It is also been considered that Chopra probably contacted Ranjit Singh alias Neeta, a top militant of Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF) presently operating from PoK, to secure his protection from his business rivals. Jammu, October 25 Reacting to the announcement by the NC Chief Omar Abdullah that their party would boycott round table conference or working group meetings unless human rights violation come to an end in Jammu and Kashmir, the Congress party termed it as unfortunate while BJP demanded more powers for the armed forces to tackle the spurt in incidents of militant violence in the state. New Delhi, Oct 25 India will share with Pakistan the evidences of ISI involvement in the 7/11 Mumbai bomb blasts as the two countries will discuss, among other issues, the recently-announced Joint Working Mechanism on Terrorism at the upcoming Foreign Secretary-level talks here from November 13 to 15.
