Srinagar, Oct 8: Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Front chief Anil Gupta defended the action of three party cadres who today storm inside the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly and created ruckus over growing unemployment problem in State. In an exclusive chat with "Early Times", Anil Gupta said that all the three youths are the responsible office bearers of the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Front and said that all of them were protesting against the growing unemployment in the State of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that his party was fighting against the unemployment since last 3-4 months and said that his party men followed all the means of democratic way to lodge his protest. He said that the protest of three party cadres was well in the ambit of democracy. Srinagar, Oct 8: The State Government today issued yet another contradictory statement on enforced disappearances in Jammu and Kashmir. Responding to a question of CPI(M) MLA, Yusuf Tarigami, the Chief Minister who also heads the Home Ministry informed the Legislative Assembly that 2305 persons had been declared disappeared since 1990.
Omar Abdullah repeatedly took Mufti Sayeed to task for his Government's record on human rights. Addressing a press conference on May 2, 2008 Omar Abdullah said 4000 Kashmiris were subjected to enforced disappearance by the State since 1990.
