Akshay Azad Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 25: The Jammu and Kashmir Planning and Development Department has released an amount of Rs. 200 Crores to kick start execution of rebuilding infrastructure in Kashmir valley directing all government departments, executing agencies to send project/scheme details for release of remaining amount of Rs. 800 Crores out of total Rs. 1000 Crores under Prime Minister’s Package for floods. Sources informed Early Times that Planning Commission of India/Ministry of Finance had released an amount of Rs. 1000 Crores through Special Plan Assistance (SPA) under Annual Plan 2014-15 for rebuilding the damaged infrastructure in the state but state government has only accorded sanction to the release of Rs. 200 Crores for construction of bridges, reclamation of water supply schemes, irrigation and flood protection works and revamp of power infrastructure.
