| Delay in 'meeting of minds' within Cong delaying reshuffle…. | | No 'indications' of pending task even after reopening of Durbar | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 3: The issue of reshuffle and expansion of cabinet in Omar Abdullah government has been 'tamed and tossed' for nearly a year now to the extent that it has assumed an 'insignificant' light, even as it is most important exercise in any government for refurbishing its image and improve the functioning of the government. Is this strategy drifting and dissuading staunch loyalists apart…..?
If sources within the party are to be believed , there is a strong sense of resentment brewing among contenders and their supports against Azad for what they see as making false commitments over this issue publicly as well as privately. On June 19 this year when Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad asserted lou...

Jammu, Nov 3: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah finally responded to the LPG crises in a big way-bigger than even Range Rover-by surrendering two of his LPG connections. The people of this state are now indebted to young Chief Minister for announcing such a big austerity measure today morning which certainly made the morning of poor LPG consumers good outside the registration/revalidation counters in twin cities of Jammu and Srinagar.
Now people in the state could foresee the end of the LPG crises and they are delighted even if they could not lit the lantern because of the shortage of K-oil in the evening. This big initiative of surrendering two LPG connections by the Ch...
| | | | Will CM oblige PDP chief by endorsing her pious demand? | | Probing Assets Of Politicians | | | Rustam
JAMMU, Nov 3: Will Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and the coalition government that he has been heading since January 2009 oblige People's Democratic Party president and Leader of opposition in the Legislative Assembly Mehbooba Mufti by accepting her pious and well-meaning demand seeking the appointment of a commission to look into the circumstances under which all politicians post-1975 made their assets?
