Governor chairs first meeting of first Court of Jammu Central University Calls for University developing as a centre of excellence producing wise and balanced personalities 4/15/2013 10:07:20 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 15: Mr. N. N. Vohra, Governor, has emphasized the crucial importance of establishing Central University of Jammu as a centre of excellence in teaching and research alongside focusing on ethical and moral values, in consonance with our glorious pluralistic ethos, to produce mature and a balanced personalities who would meet arising challenges and contributing to nation building. The Governor, who is Chancellor of the Central University of Jammu, was chairing the first meeting of the first Court of the University, here today. Referring to the establishment of this upcoming University, the Governor observed that the Members of the Court are a very distinguished group of people drawn from varied arenas of expertise who will provide guidance regarding the approaches to be followed in establishing this varsity on a sound footing to be able to impart quality education of world standards.
