| Dy CM lauds efforts of craftsmen in making mega-projects possible | | Vishwakarma Day Celebrations | |

JAMMU, Nov 16 : Vishwakarma Day was celebrated with religious fervor and gaiety all over Jammu region. In this connection a grand function was held at Talab Tillo Jammu which was organized by Yuga Vishwakarma Committee. Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand was the chief guest on the occasion. While paying rich tributes to the deity, the Deputy Chief Minister congratulated the Vishwakarma community and called upon them to work with dignity and sense of pride, as it is the master workmanship of the craftsmen which is behind every grand creation in this world. Speaking on the occasion, Tara Chand said Vishwakarma Divas is celebrated to inspire craftsmen, artisans, and workers. He said the day inculcates a sense of pride in craftsmen and labour class. "Hard work and painstaking efforts of fine craftsmen make the mega-projects possible and from time immortal the society owes to these architects who contribute in shaping landmark engineering marvels," he added. The Deputy Chief Minister said that Vedas describe Lord Vishwakarma son of Lord Brahma as the divine architect of the universe, builder of the palaces of all gods and goddesses and also the designer of their flying chariots. Vishw akarma puja is an inspiration for many especially the working class to resolve to create something new and increase their productivity, he added.
