| DC takes serious note, 3 member probe team announced | | 2 lecturers suspended for promoting copying | | Asif Iqbal Naik Kishtwar, Dec 4: Taking cognizance of Early Times report `Videos show peon, lecturers promoting unfair means' published on Dece-mber 1, the Deputy Commi-ssioner Doda, Farooq Ahmad Khan ordered suspension of the erring lecturers identified as Tanveer Ahmed Wani and Bharat Bushan. Talking to Early Times, Farooq said that merely debarring a person from examination duty does not serve any purpose. "The erring lecturers could not be exonerated by putting the blame on the peon. The role played by the two lecturers in promoting copying is more serious than the lapse of the peon who was put under suspension by the Chief Education officer (CEO) yesterday. He said that he had directed the CEO Doda to issue suspension orders of both the erring lecturers and initiate departmental action against them". He also intends to take up the matter with Director School Education Jammu favouring stern action against the duo. Pertinent to mention that CEO Doda reacting to the above quoted news report ordered suspension of peon Sanjay Kumar and debarred the two lecturers Tanveer and Bharat Bushan from examination duty. The CEO also constituted three member inquiry committee comprising DPO, Principal Higher Secondary School Berreau and Shahida Begum HOD DIET Doda. He also attached Sanjay Kumar to ZEO Office Bhaderwah till pending inquiry. Early Times having possession of five videos highlighted the the role of Tanveer Ahmed Wani lecturer in Physics and Bharat Bushan lecturer in Chemistry, beside peon Sanjay Kumar promoting unfair means in ongoing 12th class examination in Girls Higher Secondary School Bhaderwah. Tanveer was seen leaking applied Math question of Physics Paper on mobile phone, while Sanjay Kumar was seen helping in solving the objective type questions of Chemistry paper inside GHSS Bhaderwah with the help of Bharat Bushan Lecturer in Chemistry who unauthorizedly entered the examination center.
