| DF-SS demonstrates against traffic authorities | | |

Jammu, Dec 7 : The activists of the Dogra Front (DF) and Shiv Sena (SS) led by President Ashok Gupta took out a procession from Parade Ground to City Chowk against traffic department over the 79 deaths in 45 accidents in past 1 month.
Protestors raising slogans against traffic department burnt the effigies of traffic department. The protestors were demanded immediate action is demanded by Dogra Front and Shiv Sena against the concerned people from the Chief Minister.
Addressing the protestors Gupta stated that the optimum reason behind the accident is overloading of public vehicles even though the traffic people are installed on most of the routes turn blind eye towards these violations.
He further stated the responsibility of managing traffic should be transferred from traffic police to the RTO of the state for the better management of traffic and for the stake of precious lives.
Among those who were present in this protest were Prem, Vikram Sharma, Guddu, Surjit Singh, Lal Singh, Suresh and Naresh. |
