| APS showcases cultural heritage of India | | Kashmiri Rouf, Chakhri' enthralls audience | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Srinagar, Dec. 7 (KNS): The students of Army Public School, Srinagar enthralled the jam pack Chinar Auditorium with excellent presentation of cultural programme showcasing heritage of India with special focus on Kashmiri Rouf and Chakhri. The programme was organized as a part of the annual day celebration of the school which has been adjudged number one in the academic excellence performance this year. The School received the trophy and cash award for its best performance in academics. The event flourished with numerous and vibrant programmes including Kashmiri Rouf, Fashion Show, Puppet Dance, Tribal Dance, Classical Dance, Patriotic Song, Goan Dance, Hindi Play, Kashmiri Chahkri, Band Performance, Bangra, etc. The students showed full zeal and enthusiasm while presenting the programmes. This function was a vital initiative to create awareness among the young innovators and budding students regarding 'Cultural Heritage of India'. The audience was mesmerized to see the performance of the students and the auditorium echoed with the vibrant applauds. While presiding over the inaugural session, the Chief Guest- DY.GOC 31 sub Area, Chairman of the school, Brig K K Pant, expressed his immense gratitude pertaining to the successful and vibrant presentations of programs by the students and congratulated the school principal and the staff for attaining zenith in academic excellence.
