JAMMU, Dec 7: Beating the aggressive and fighting Churchill Brothers by two goals to nil, Power Development Corporation (PDC) today sailed into final of the ongoing Christmas Soccer Championship, organised by Christian Sports Association at GGM Science College ground, here. Both the goals came in the last minutes of the game after a barren first half play. The first goal from PDC came only in the 74th minute of the game through Adnan. Four minutes later, Demmy netted the ball for team's second goal in 78th to make it a 2-0 win in the semifinals. Meanwhile, in a quarterfinal match played today, Sainik Colony Football Club outplayed the PDC B side by a solitary goal. The only goal came through Munish in the 66th minute. Managing Director, Police Housing Corporation, IGP, Alok Puri and Dr Danish were special guests in today's matches. Both the guests were introduced with the teams played in today's matches by the members of the organising committee. FIXTURE: Sainik Colony to take on Jammu United in second semifinal tomorrow at 10.30 am tomorrow.
