JAMMU, Dec 7: Organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Table Tennis Association, the four-day Jammu District Championship got underway at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here today.
The competition was declared open by senior advocate and working president of the Association, V K Magoo was chief guest. A host of other guests, including office bearers of the Association besides participants were among those present.
Opening day witnessed competition in the preliminary round in the sub-junior categories of boys and girls. In all, around 200 entries have been received by the organizing committee in different age groups, including men and women sections.
