EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 10: Endorsing the ultimatum given by the United Teachers Federation (UTF) to the Directorate of School Education (DSE), Jammu, for placement orders of all the promotees by December 16, the J&K Teacher's Welfare Association (JKTWA) has flayed the delay in implementation of the much hyped promotion list. In a press statement, JKTWA State President, Jasmeet Singh Madaan said that the promotion list of junior assistants to senior assistants, Laboratory Assistant to Teachers, Teachers to Master's Grade, Master's Grade to Headmaster's, Headmaster's to ZEO/ZEPO etc. released on Teacher's Day was widely welcomed by the Association at that time but now to much dismay and despair, the posting orders of these promotees are still awaited despite the lapse of more than three months by the DSE, Jammu. Jasmeet urged all other Teacher's organization to unite and fully support this "common teacher's cause" and demonstrate on December 17 with all their cadres before the office of DSE, Jammu, if their demand is not met. J&K TWA also demanded that all the promotees should be adjusted in their respective districts so that the fruits of promotion should be fully enjoyed by all the promotees and "Promotion should not be construed as Punishment". |
