| Kashmir shuts down on world HR Day | | CM launches Academy's website | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Srinagar, Dec 10 : Normal life in Kashmir remained disturbed on Monday due to a strike call given by Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front ( JKLF) later supported by High Court Bar Association and separatist factions of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Syed Ali Geelani with most of the business establishments remained closed in almost every part of the valley,while as a few private cars could be seen plying on the roads. The general strike call given by JKLF On the eve of world human rights day to protest against the life imprisonment awarded to two of its senior leaders by a TADA court in Jammu also hit the educational institutions of the valley. Meanwhile all the top leaders of JKLF including Yasin Malik observed a hunger strike at the groups headquarter,Maqbool Manzil in Maisuma locality Srinagar. |
