Jammu, Dec 27: Referring to country wide fury after shocking Delhi gang rape case including NCC cadets in Jaipur brandishing swords, Director General Mother the nature (NGO), S S Biiral, IPS (Retd) said let's not ignore them before they learn to ignore the rest.
Echoing voice for better social set up for women, Director General Mother the nature (NGO), Biiral today said news about rapes, Human trafficking of NE women; Jharkhand mob lynches five for molesting girls and etc went without a flutter. "But all this were writing on walls that women constituting 50% of population yet are pushed to the wall, he said.
Seeking a rightful place for women for a healthy nation, Bijral while quoting Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji said, "So kyon manda aakhive iit jamev raiaan" (why call that bad who gives birth to kings). He suggested war of terror be unleashed against female feticide and sexual abuse related violence against women and children through fast track courts.
'Minimum punishment awarded to also be exemplary, he said adding, "photos of offenders of sexual violence against women and children be flashed regularly on screens put up outside local police stations and prominent crossings during the term of convicts. Besides this he asked for restriction on late night sale of liquor. |
